HONG LEONG CONNECT APP 2020
SUMMARY
The ALL-NEW HLB Connect App is designed to make banking easy, with more customization features so you can manage your money, your way.



NIGHT
One of the most underrated features of this new app is the ability for users to choose between a light and dark theme. With the new Day & Night mode, customers will have the flexibility to choose how they want their app to be displayed and switch between them anytime with one tap.
DAY

COLOURS & ICONS
Colors can speak in ways that are every bit as powerful as language. They can reflect the personality of your brand. They can attract users, and they can better communicate your message. Employ more Hong Leong Bank blue brand color on the app instead of red to avoid competitor brand color.



THEME





Great animation makes your app user-friendly and catches attention. Apply the animation video during Malaysia Festive season is to wish the season greeting to our customers.



ACCOUNT OVERVIEW
Check your balances, view transaction histories, download e-statements.

Problem:
One customer may have more than one product with us and the customer request to see more details on the account.

Solution:
Implement a swiping feature into the connect apps. We categorize customer's accounts base on their preference to let them view their accounts easily.




TRANSFER MONEY
Send money using recipient account, mobile, or other ID numbers

Problem:
According to a focus group, most of the customers login to the Connect apps just to transfer money and they prefer an easy and time-saving way.
​
Solution:
Introduce the first automation card system into Connect apps to reduce the click when performing the transfer, pay bills, and more. Categorize the entry fields into the card system for easy viewing.



NAVIGATOR
Navigator made the solutions to all our problems accessible and allow users to contribute necessary information and mark places of importance thereby generating the most accurate description of a location. In Menu, user able to access all the features in the apps by the click of our fingertips.





CREDIT CARD DETAILS
Instant approval for a temporary increase in credit limit, notify overseas travel, report / block a lost card, and more

Problem:
The customer will like to check the credit card details and transaction upfront.
​
Solution:
Apply the Timeline feature to allow the customer to view 3 months transactions all the time. Customers can view all the details on a screen and pay their credit card payment with a fingerclick.
